A good graphic can say a thousand words, and Edward Tufte is the guru of visualizing quantitative information. A statistician and artist, and Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Statistics, and Computer Science at Yale University, Tufte runs day-long workshops around the country, with his seminal books included as part of the conference fee.
The New York Times described Edward Tufte as the “Leonardo da Vinci of data,” and Business Week as the “Galileo of graphics.”
